Yesterday, the Whittlesey Wordsmiths met for our monthly get-together at Peel House. Two members were missing, Sandra and Jan, due to health considerations. In case you don't know me, I'm the one in the funky T-shirt in the back row.

Among other items, we celebrated and discussed our latest collective book, Dead End Tales, standing in the middle of the table before us. We'll be presenting it to the public in two weeks at the local U3A's WhitLit literature festival. The event begins at 2 p.m. in Childers, Whittlesey. All are welcome.

As usual, discussions wandered over a wide range. Sadly, we couldn't distract our leader, Wendy (back row, second from right) from giving us homework to do for next month. Thanks to new member Henry (bottom right) for the subject suggestions.

This is my local writing group, where I've been active almost since the beginning. You'll find our collective efforts and individual ones on the books page.
